No indulgence in extortion after SoO: KK Nganba

KK Nganba faction of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) on Wednesday claimed that the outfit has completely stopped itself from indulging in extortion activities.
Talking to mediapersons at the Press Club here, the underground group's chairman KK Nganba said that the outfit has already announced not to indulge itself in extortion activities after entering signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Government.
He said that the outfit has been maintaining its clear stand in this regard so far.
Reacting to the news reports appeared in various local dailies today regarding arrest of two cadres of KCP-KK Nganba group, he claimed that one of the arrested man, namely Paonam Riky alias Sana alias Tutu has no connection with the group at all.
However, the other one, namely Taurem Gourashyam alias Ranjit is a like-minded cadre of the group, KK Nganba further said.
Notably, KCP-KK Nganba group is one of the constituent units of United Revolutionary Front (URF), a conglomerate of five different KCP factions which are currently under agreement of suspension of operation (SoO) with the Government.
