RPF/PLA expresses gratitude

Revolutionary People's Front (RPF), the political wing of banned People's Liberation Army (PLA), has expressed its gratitude to the people of Manipur including communities, womenfolk, clubs, associations, institutions, organisations, Bar Association, government employees, health workers, teachers and students, for offering floral tributes and showing respect to the martyrs at the Cheirao Ching memorial site on Wednesday.
In statement, RPF/PLA deputy secretary (Publicity) Roben Khuman also conveyed gratitude to members of electronic media, transporters, doctors, nurses and staff along with locals residing around Cheirao Ching, Manipur police and traffic police for assisting the people and providing security.
It further thanked all those who helped in organising the solemn function successfully.
It also informed that "Athoubasing gi Numit" (Martyrs' Day), was also observed on Wednesday at RPF's Thouburel Loisang, Council Headquarters, PLA General Headquarters, Tactical Command, Strategic Command, 252 Mobile Battalion and other units, Department, Stations along with Cen tral Bureau, SR- 1, SR 2, SR-3 and SR-4 of the party, wherein floral tributes were paid to the memorials of the martyrs.
The outfit then stated that the sacrifices of the martyrs should be commemorated and, all of us should be ready to sacrifice everything for our motherland.
