DCs/DMs told to submit report

Commissioner (Home) T Ranjit Singh has instructed district magistrates/deputy commissioners of all districts to submit de-tailed report on the current state of affairs in Manipur in connection with writ petition and other related cases filed by the Manipur Tribal Forum, Delhi against the State of Manipur.
According to the order, the district mag-istrates/deputy commissioners advised to submit report containing detailed information about the total number of relief camps opened, number of inmates, community, food pro-vided, medical care and medicines, officers in charge or organisations of running the camps, details of the security forces deployed at religious and other places, number of people rescued/transported based on community, details of the religious places and protected/ reserved forest areas damaged during the violence, future plans for transporting/re-locating the displaced population, number of illegal weapons seized and houses burned and damages suffered during the clashes, by 5pm of June 8.They were also instructed to update on the incidents occurring daily and provide other details, as required by the court.
