Free mega health camp held

A Free Mega Health Camp was held today at the relief camp opened in Manipur College, Singjamei to provide medical care/ treatment to the displaced people taking shelter there.
As part of the camp, a teacher's meet was also held for teachers who have volunteered to provide education to the students taking shelter at the relief camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Yumnam Khemchand, Minister MAHUD & RDPR, expressed his concern over the ongoing conflict in the State which has led to irreparable loss of precious lives and properties.
He appealed to all the communities to consider the sufferings of the thousands of people who have been displaced by the conflict and come together for a peaceful solution to restore normalcy in Manipur.

The Minister also appreciated the volunteer teachers who have come forward to provide valuable lessons and supplemental learning to the students who are taking shelter at the relief camps.
Notably, the relief camp was set up on June 4 at Manipur College by 20 locals clubs, Meira Paibis and Peace And Relief Committee under the supervision of MAHUD & RDPR Minister.
About 95 displaced persons from Sugnu, Serou, Napat, Tangjeng, Churachandpur and Itham Moirang Purel are currently taking shelter at the camp.
Moreover, All Manipur Tammi Chingmi Apunba Nupi Lup also conducted a free medical health camp at the relief camp opened in Singda Kadangband Part-I to provide free medical care to the people taking shelter at the camp.
