President Murmu, Shah to dedicate, launch projects in state

Union home minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive here on January 6, 2023 to inaugurate various projects implemented by the BJP-led government in the state.
President Droupadi Murmu is also likely to visit the state after conclusion of G-20 meeting proposed to be held in the state in February and inaugurate several projects.
In connection with the upcoming high profile visits, chief minister N Biren on Wednesday chaired a meeting with his council of ministers and top officials to discuss the preparations for inauguration and laying of foundation stones of various projects by them.
Speaking to The People's Chronicle via mobile phone, CM N Biren revealed that the BJP led state government will organise 'Inauguration Month' from middle of December to inaugurate various completed projects taken up by the BJP led government in its first term.
At the juncture there are over 100 projects which have been completed.
In all likelihood, President Murmu will visit the state after the G-20 meeting to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of numerous projects totalling more than Rs 1000 crore, he informed.
The CM continued that Union home minister Amit Shah will arrive on January 6, 2023 during which he will inaugurate Churachandpur Medical College; Polo statue at Marjing; Manipur Olympian Park, Sangaithel; JNIMS Private Ward; Eastern Gate of Kangla; and Horticulture & Soil Conservation Department's Magfruit building at Nilakuthi along with hoisting the tricolour on the 165 feet tall flagpole located at INA complex, Moirang.
The Union minister will also hold a public meeting at Moirang during his tour, he further added.
