Political analyst and activist Dhanabir Laishram on the ocassion advocated the adoption of equal and sustainable development and mutual respect among communities, groups and individuals in the State.

"We need to collectively understand the situation," he said.
UCM General Secretary YK Dhiren informed that a six-point memorandum was submitted to RN Ravi during his recent visit to Manipur and asked him to apprise Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same issue.
The Government of India had failed to present the framework agreement (Naga peace accord) in the Parliament and to provide the copies of the same to the Governments of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, Dhiren said.
RN Ravi had also been requested by UCM, AMUCO and CCSK to urge the Prime Minister so that he could come out with a white paper on the peace accord, Dhiren informed.
He also asserted that the Naga political problem should not be resolved without taking into consideration the interest of the people of Manipur.
Eminent historian Dr Lokendra Arambam moderated the deliberation.
AMUCO Vice President Ph Devan Sharma and CCSK General Secretary Jitendra Ningombam were also present during the discussion.
