Imphal, August 05 2026:
Inspector General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Clay Khongsai called on Chief Minister Y Khemchand at the Secretariat today and discussed matters relating to internal security, law enforcement, and civil-military civic action in the State.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister appreciated the ITBP's role in strengthening public security and commended its Civic Action Programmes.
He said that the State Government remains committed to close coordination with all security agencies to ensure lasting peace, stability, and public welfare.

We held discussions on matters relating to internal security, law enforcement, and civil-military civic action in the State.
"I appreciate the ITBP's steadfast role in strengthening public security and commend its Civic Action Programmes, which continue to foster community trust through meaningful welfare and healthcare initiatives.
The State Government remains committed to close coordination with all security agencies to ensure lasting peace, stability, and public welfare," said the Chief Minister in a post on social media.
