St Stephen's College alumni felicitate new CS

St Stephen's College Alumni, Manipur Chapter, a forum of the alumni of St Stephen's College, Delhi from the State of Manipur, felicitated the new Chief Secretary of Manipur Oinam Nabakishore Singh at Imphal Hotel today.
A physics graduate and postgraduate of Physics from St Stephen's College and also one of the toppers of Physics in University of Delhi, O Nabakishore Singh was welcomed in the presence of Cabinet Minister (PHED, Labour and Employment) of Manipur Irengbam Hemochandra Singh and Additional Chief Secretary of Manipur WL Hangshing.
In the informal congregation of Stephanians in Imphal, the experiences of life's journey were shared by the Cabinet Minister, Chief Secretary and Addl Chief Secretary besides Secretary R K Dinesh Singh, IAS and Thoubal Deputy Commissioner T Ranjit Singh.
The informal gathering was followed by a high tea and lunch.
The other stephanians who also attended the informal gathering included DIG (Range-1) IK Muivah, Imphal West DC Ningthoujam Geoffrey, W Malemnganba Chenglei, MCS, L Bikram, MCS, Peter Salam, MCS, Tanusree Naorem, MCS, T Lalboi Haokip, MPS, Lhingjakim Haokip, MPS, Lalawi Gangte, AGM, IDBI Bank, Chekngrem Sekho, teacher and Ningombam Bupenda Meitei.
The Stephanians shared their memory of college days and also discussed the role of Stephanians and Stephania in making the world a better place to live.
Many Stephanians from Manipur such as Union Secretary Ameising Luikham, Armstrong Pame and Prof N Lokendra Singh, Registrar, Manipur University could not attend as they were out of the state owing to their prior engagement.
Founded in 1881 by Cambridge Mission to Delhi, St Stephen's College has also produced 3 Manipur Governors namely, Ved Marwah, Arvind Dave and SS Siddhu.
