AMGSU extends gratitude

All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) has extended its sincere gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh for his immediate intervention and swift action to safely rescue the abducted Roshan Uprety.
The student body conveyed heartfelt thanks to Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, DGP P Doungel, IGP (Zone-III), DIG (Range-IV), SP Kangpokpi, OC Kangpokpi, OC Saparmeina, OC Sekmai, 22 Assam Rifles, CRPF, CDO teams from Imphal East, Imphal West and Special Commando for their tireless effort in rescuing Roshan Uprety.
AMGSU also extended its heartiest thanks to KSO Sadar Hills, Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi, Sadar Hills Chief Association, Liangmei Naga Council Manipur, Liangmei Naga Students' Union Manipur, Kangleipak Kanba Lup, Biswa Hindu Parishad Manipur Pranta, Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union, Bharatiya Gorkha Parishang, Nepali Sahitya Parishad, all the units of AMGSU, JAC, All Manipur Gorkha Ex-servicemen Association, Women Societies, Clubs, public and well wishes for their immense role in the safe release of Roshan Uprety.
Meanwhile, AMGSU appealed to all concerned not to repeat such an incident in the future stating that gun culture has directly hurt the sentiment of the community.
