JDO urges State Government

The Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) has appealed to the State Government and the local MLA to look into the degenerated condition of Jiribam tea estate and rapid encroachment by some people within the estate.
Speaking to media persons at the office of JIMPAL today, JDO vice-president RK Noyonsana decried that Government apathy coupled with illegal encroachment has ruined the only tea estate of the State.
JDO president M Hemanta appealed to the authorities concerned to complete all incomplete projects and address other grievances of Jiribam people such as the incomplete 100 -bedded hospital, ITI Kadamtala, Babupara super market complex and deteriorated inter village roads.
Technicians who came to Jiribam CHC to repair two dysfunctional X-ray machines went back unable to repair the two machines, much to the disappointment of Jiribam people, remarked Hemanta while appealing to the authority concerned to repair the dysfunctional X-ray machines at the earliest.
