MU Inter College Physique Competition : Th Yaisana of Standard College wins overall title

Imphal, December 22 2023: Th Yaisana Meitei of Standard College bagged the overall title in the N Surendra Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Best Physique (M) Competition 2023-24 .

The competition was hosted by Department of Sports, Manipur University at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium today under the aegis of Manipur University Sports Committee.

M Rahul of Pravabati College, Wangkhui Lungar of Pettigrew College and Nutun Gurumayum of Standard College were adjuded first, second and third in the 60 kg category competition as Ph Arun of Biramangol College, Paotam Vashum of Pettigrew College and L Avinash of Western College finished first, second and third in the 65 kg category competition.

Th Yaisana of Standard College topped the 70 kg category as H Arya of Ng College and B Barnold of Standard College secured the second and third places.

Y Thomas of Ng College sealed the 75 kg category title as RK Mojesh of Pravabati College and Handson Irom of Standard College finished second and third.

Ricky Hawaibam of KP College and Kh Rishikanta of Ng College were adjudged first and second in the 80 kg category competition as Asem Pibarel Meetei of Mayai Lambi College and Y Indrakumar Singh of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Inst of Agri Sciences were declared winners in 85 and 90 kg categories.

Standard College emerged team champions of the competition with 19 points as Ng College finished runners up with 9 points.

The competition was conducted by the All Manipur Body Builders Association.
