4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T20 Trophy : YUCC, YWC-L, MPSC, Blue Hawk register second straight victories

YUCC-Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai, YWC-Langthabal, MPSC-Old Lambulane and Blue Hawk-Khurai all eased to second wins in the ongoing 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T20 Trophy today.
In the Group A match staged at Model Hr Sec School and Oriental College Ground, YUCC registered a comprehensive 53 run victory over RCA-Lilong.
N Thoiba scored a 40-ball 50 and N Rohit added 35-ball 48 to hand YUCC a total of 167 runs for 7 wickets after RCA won the toss and opted to bat first.
The innings saw Iliyas and Salim of RCA picked two wickets apiece before they were bundled out for 114 runs within 18.3 overs of the chase as Somraj 3/14, Devraj Nongthombam 2/27 and Kadamjit Moirangthem 2/23 of YUCC were unstoppable with their bowlings.

Nawaz Sharif 27 and Iqbal Hussian 20 were the top run getters for RCA.
Meanwhile, YWC-L posted a 22-run victory over MPA in a Group B match at Luwangpokpa Stadium after piling up 148/6 and restricting MPA to 126/7 .
Put in to bat first, YWC rode on Ngangbam Bishwash 48 and Pukhrambam Prashantamani's 33 to gather 148 runs.
The innings saw Soram Naoboy, Th Chinglensana, E Rohit and Vivekraj Chabungbam claim a wicket apiece.
MPA however ended up scoring 126 runs despite Lucky Elangbam 45, E Rohit 29 and Th Joychandra 30 making significant scores.
Maibam Subash 2/17 and Pukhrambam Prashantamani 2/29 led the bowling attack for YWC-L in this innings.
Elsewhere at Lairenjam Public Ground, Gelson Singh Thoudam (70-ball 83), Sagolshem Sunil (51-ball 58) and Sarangthem Shanker (4/10 in 4 overs) helped MPSC cruise to a 101-run victory over AKSDO-Khangabok.
It was the second win over MPSC after beating KIYC in the previous match.
MPSC stacked up 179 runs for 1 wicket thanks to Gelson and Sunil after opting to bat first and rode on Shanker, Indraban S Koijam (2/6) and M Bijoykumar (2/21) to dismiss AKSDO all out for 78 runs.
In the Group D match staged at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, Blue Hawk defeated CDCC-Sagolband Salam Leikai by 95 runs for the second win.
Blue Hawk racked up 167 runs for 6 thanks to Mintu Chandra's quickfire 54 (off 35 balls), Amom Guniram 31 and W Samson 28 after opting to bat first and bowled out CDCC for 72 runs in 16.1 overs riding on Mintu Chandra 3/9, Jitendra Bishan Thakur 2/14, Samsung Heisnam 2/14 .
Viking Salam with 29 runs was the highest run getter for CDCC in the chase.
In Blue Hawk innings, Md Ataur Rahaman picked two wickets as four others claimed a wicket apiece.
