MNCA set to conduct U-19 Men's team trial in phased manner

The Manipur Cricket Association is set to conduct selection trial for State U-19 men's team for the domestic season 2023-24 from August 14 in two phases.
Players clustered in four groups will be undergoing the selection trial to be held on August 14 and 16 in two sessions each (morning : 9 am to 12 pm; evening 1 pm to 4 pm) at Lairenjam Public Ground, Lairenjam.
As per a notification from the MNCA, 29 players clubbed in Group A and 30 players clubbed in Group B will be attending the trial on August 14 while 30 players clustered respectively in Group C and D will undergo trial in the morning and evening sessions on August 16 .
Aditya Ravidas, Irom Sunny, Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba, Sorokhaibam Dailish, Makakmayum Wasim Akram, Soram Naoboy, Nepram Richer, Thounaojam Pritam, Laishram Nirash, Bisal Ningombam, Bogimayum Afsar, Devraj Nongthombam, Khundrakpam Bishorjit Mangang, Siddarth Irom, Aditya Prasad, Hanjabam Naoba, Md Alfash, Laishram Winchelly, Pheiroijam Jodash, Kangabam Themisson, Thongam Malemnganba, Ningthoujam Thoungamba Meitei, Lairenjam Ansh, Kangabam Sanatomba, Langlenhanbam Abinash, Yanglem Suson, Ringku Kangujam, Aribam Rohit Sharma and N Basant have been clubbed in Group A and informed to attend the morning session on August 14.They should report to the venue by 8.30 am, the notification read.
Meanwhile, Rosan Laishram, Aribam Ronald Sharma, Khaidem Joyraj, Naesh Hussain, Yumnam Achouba, Sanayai Ningthoujam, Nameirakpam Lelil, Lohitsun Khamnam, Sandham Amar, Md Iliyas, Gurumayum Prince, Ningthoujam Jamesbond, Ronald Ningombam, Lucky Elangbam, Ningthoujam Sidarth Mangang, Phurailatpam Bhimo, Seram Robinson, Palungbam Manas Bose, Md Irfan, Irungbam Tonton, Wahengbam Nareshkumar, Naorem Lann, Laishram Akash, Ngangkham Krishnakanta, Kh Naeem Ahamad, Md Aqeel Ahamed Phundreimayum, Elangbam Rohit, Mairembam Lucky, Birbal Irom and Menson Nongmaithem have been informed to attend the evening session of August 14 .
Players who are placed in Group C and Group D are as follows.
Group C : Sorokhaibam Albert, Heishnam Joyhenba, Suraj Meisnam, Birjeet Laishram, Wakip Sheikh, Zenith Nongmaithem, Loitongbam Anjan, Moirangthem Gunggung, MD Danish Khan, Syed Hani, Reolin Oinam, Salam Richie, Md Imran Khan, Dhanraj Sapam, Pukhrambam Rohit, Grison Laitonjam, Yungkham Vicky Roy, Muhammad Ali Karim, Tanishq Sharma, Khunjamayum Dennis, Nameirakpam Ramananda, Boocker Kangujam, Laitonjam James, Zamir Khan, Kangabam Duran, Ksh Rishi, Moirangthem Medhajit, Heishnam Manikanta, Loukrakpam Anao and Bachaspatimayum Dinarashan.
Group D : Tamarland Pheiroijam, Waikhom Rex, Sapam Bikash, Khundrakpam Punsiba Mangang, Anuj Kharel, Bachaspatimayum Bishworaj, Pravesh, Md Riyajuddin, Sohail Khan, Wangkheimayum Washington, Ningthoujam Rahulkumar, Yumnam Athouba, Heigrujam Korou, Sheikh Irfan Hussain, Ningthoujam Thoiba, Nepram Herojit, Md Sarif Khan, Aribam Rahul Sharma, Sanjenbam Manikhomba Meitei, Yoihenba Thoudam, Laishram Bidyashwor, Rickymenan Thokchom, Yendrenbam Bharatngamba, Biyon Naorem, Khwairakpam Shinoj, Donny Laishram, Rain Urikhimbam, Abdul Kaif, Loitongbam Kiran and Max Warokpam.
MNCA also informed all players who had applied for participating in the U-23 men's team trial selection to report at MNCA Headquarters at Luwangsangbam on or before 1 pm of August 16 .
