Ibobi, Cong MLAs in Delhi

To press the Opposition Congress and the Parliament to discuss the Manipur crisis, four Congress MLAs led by CLP leader Okram Ibobi have flown to Delhi today.
On reaching Delhi, the four Congress legislators, former CM Okram Ibobi, K Ranjit, K Meghachandra and Th Lokeshwar met Gaurav Gogoi, deputy leader of the Indian National Congress in the Lok Sabha and later met Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, leader of the INC in the Lok Sabha.
During the meetings, CLP leader Okram Ibobi briefed the Central Congress leaders about the "deteriorating" law and order situation in Manipur and urged them to discuss the crisis in the ongoing Monsoon session of the Parliament which is scheduled to end on August 11 .
Okram Ibobi and the team also briefed the Congress leaders about the fresh violence in Bishnupur in which three Meitei civilians were killed.
The Congress MLAs will meet Rahul Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge tomorrow.
