Meeting resolves to eke out security arrangement for safety of Kakching people

The Peace Committee of 37 Kakching Assembly Constituency chaired by MLA M Rameshwar Singh held a meeting today at the office of Deputy Commissioner Kakching district.
The meeting was attended by Kapajit Singh ADM Kakching on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner; Vikramjit Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police; Nongmaithem Nimai Singh, president Senior Citizen Forum, Kakching and Yengkhom Nilachandra Singh, former Minister and vice chairman of the Peace Committee of 37 Kakching AC, besides representatives of various CSOs, clubs and local organisations of 37-Kakching AC.

Four resolutions were passed during the meeting.
These are as follows: i) the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police along with the Peace Committee and representatives of various clubs and local organisations in discussion with the various stakeholders in 37 Kakching AC will plan out a security arrangement and placement of manpower for the safety of the people of 37 Kakaching AC, ii) that all the Central Security Forces placed within the AC will deploy it's manpower only after discussing it with the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Kakching district who in turn would do the same after having taken consent and agreement from the Peace Committee and other clubs, NGOs and organisations established so with an objective to bring peace, law and order and harmony in the society, iii) to organise interactive sessions with various clubs and organisations formed with an objective to bring peace within the State from time to time and iv) that the status of the relief camps within 37 Kakching AC will be assessed and required relief materials and rehabilitation are to be provided for restoring normalcy, peace and harmony within the State.
The meeting ended with an appeal by the Kakching MLA to the representatives of the various clubs and organisations to help the Government and the authorities concerned in bringing peace in the State.
