Noney, April 12 2024: A Financial Literacy Awareness Camp was or ganised by Manipur Rural Bank (MRB) Noney Branch under Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF) managed by NABARD at Longmai Bazar community hall, Noney district on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, MRB Noney branch manager Elvis Phaomei encouraged the bank customers to avail loan with a purpose for sustainable development.

Asking the loanees to repay their loan in time so that one can further approach for another term loan, he appealed to the customers to help the bank and in return bank will also help the customers in their prosperity.

As a part of the pro gramme, loan sanction letters for five self-help groups under Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and 28 Kishan Credit Card (KCC) for PM-Kishan beneficiaries were distributed.

More than 60 farmers of Longmai area took part in the event.

Meanwhile, MRB Noney Branch is facing grievances by the general public due to the shortage of staff as only two regular employees are manning the bank.
