Imphal, September 01 2023: Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles of IGAR (South) interacted with the faculty members and students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Poi village, Ukhrul district on Thursday.

The AR team interacted with 36 students and five faculty members of the school, who requested assistance for the upcoming Teachers' Day celebration.

Prompt administrative assistance was provided for the celebration.

The students pinned Teacher's Day badges on all the soldiers of Poi COB and wished their well-being.

Furthering its efforts of inculcating sportsman spirit amongst the youth, Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match at S Khulen at Henglep sub-division in Churachandpur district on Thursday between Assam Rifles troops and youth of S Khullen and Lhangaimol villages.

The match was witnessed by a large number of spectators from adjoining villages including ladies, youth and children.
