Aid provided; awareness prog held

Kakching/Bishnupur, January 08 2024:
Youths and Students' Development Organisation (YSDO), Kakching formed by Kakching High School 1979 Matric Batch distributed monetary aid to residents of various relief camps of Kakching.
In connection with the fellow meet of the Batch, YSDO provided financial assistance of Rs 200 each to 180 persons at Indoor Stadium Kakching relief camp, 60 at Kakching Wairi Kongoi community hall relief camp and 40 at Yumbi Macha High School relief camp along with Rs 2000 each to a girl staying in Kha Manipur College relief camp, who recently underwent an operation, and to a pregnant woman at Old Age Home, Kakching relief camp.
Meanwhile, Monika Chanu Chongtham of Sangaiprou, who recently completed her PhD in Neuroscience Stress and Depression at Johannes Gutenberg University, Germany, provided relief materials at Schedule Tribe Girls Hostel, Leimaram and Leimaram Government High School along with conducting an awareness programme on mental health.
During the programme held under the aegis of Stresspunsch Science Communication, Monika Chanu, Mothers Care Children Hospital clinical psychologist Karishma Yumnam and ICDS Project Imphal City supervisor Bidyarani Hanglem spoke as resource persons.
