AR provides essentials, medical aid

Assam Rifles distributed essential rations and warm clothing at the Loupaochum Relief Camp in Andro, Imphal East district on Monday with the humane gesture evoking appreciation from all 56 residents of the camp, as well as the villagers of Andro.
The distributed items included indispensable rations and much-needed warm clothing such as shawls, woollen caps, and socks, providing crucial relief to the community during the harsh winter conditions, informed a statement of PRO, IGAR (S).
In another statement the PRO informed that Assam Rifles of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), extended medical assistance to a 3-year-old boy and a 35-year-old individual residing in Twilelon and New Chamol villages, Chandel district respectively on Monday.
Gogou, the 3-year-old boy of Twilelon village, reported for burn injury on his right foot due to spillage of hot water while 35-year-old Jamsel of New Chamol village came to the unit hospital with cut and trauma injury.
He fell down from Kunda gari while working at his workplace and sustained a cut injury, trauma and bleeding from right ear.
The medical team at the unit hospital instantaneously provided the necessary first aid and provided other necessary conservative treatment to both of them, added the PRO.
