Imphal, January 08 2024: 69th Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of Akhilesh Prasad Singh, IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF today organised a Civic Action Programme at Kontha Khabam Heibongmakhong in Imphal East district.

22 water storage tanks were distributed to the needy villagers of Kontha Khabam village during the programme, said a release issued by CRPF.

The programme was attended by Bajrang Lal, Commandant- 69 Bn CRPF, Officers/Jawans of 69 Bn CRPF, chairman/ secretary & members of Kontha Khabam Development Association (KKDA) .

Speaking on the occasion, Bajrang Lal said that the programme was conducted to extend helping hand to the helpless and needy people of the society.

"CRPF is always with the society and serving not only as a peace keeper but also for welfare and harmony of the people in the areas.

It is our endeavour and constant effort to serve the poor and the needy people of Manipur as a whole", he added.
