Imphal, July 01 2023:
Deeply concerned over continuous attacks on innocent villagers by Chin Kuki narco- terrorists and Centre's inability to contain the violence despite Union home minister Amit Shah's assurance, the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) said time has reached for intellectuals and academicians of Manipur to expose and discuss the hidden agenda of Government of India in the unabated violence.
According to a statement of COCOMI, Manipur is a state of India but there are enough signs of violation of rights of the state and its people.
Even though Chin- Kuki nar -co-terrorists who infiltrated from Myanmar continue to attack innocent villagers using sophisticated weapons and bombs, the Government of India (GOI) is still reluctant to safeguard their own citizens and this makes clearer GOI's colonial mindset and
outlook towards the people of Manipur.
The task of the Assam Rifles is to safeguard lives and properties of the people but they are aiding Chin -Kuki Chin-Kuki Narco terrorists in attacking innocent civilians even to the extent of using bombs and this proves that attacks on innocent civilians are done as per instruction of the GOI, the COCOMI said adding that evidences in this regard are already in public domain.
