Bishnupur, July 01 2023:
Two cows, one bull and one calf belonging to residents of Thamnapokpi who returned home with gunshot injuries were given treatement by a team of District Veterinary Office Bishnupur.
Mention may be made that the four livestocks from the village returned with bullet injuries while 7 others went missing after Kuki militants reportedly fired upon them while grazing.
The Veterinary team led by Joint Director L Gojen provided free treatment and assured the owners to provide more medical assistance.
The locals also condemned attacks on animals at the strongest terms.
