Thoubal, January 20 2024: To effectively fight against the relentless attacks of the Kuki terrorists, Apunba Nupi Khunnai Lamjing Meira Lup, Yairipok urged the authorities concerned to deploy adequate State Security forces at the border town Moreh and the peripheral regions of the State.

A press release jointly issued by the president and secretary of Apunba Nupi Khunnai Lamjing Meira Lup demanded the deployment of adequate security forces in the sensitive areas of the State to drive out the Kuki terrorists.

'Let the security forces carry out their duties effectively to fight against the unabated attacks of the Kuki terrorists to prevent further casualties', said the release.

Stating that the mothers can no longer bear the further loss of their beloved sons, the women body appealed to all concerned to take up imperative steps to resolve the ongoing violence and pave way for the restoration of peace and normalcy in Manipur.
