On behalf of WANGGPACO, he urged the elected MLAs to deliver their duties sincerely for the welfare of their people rather than being indifferent and mere silent spectators to the suffering of the people.
The State has been burning since the outbreak of the communal violence in May last year and it is not the time for the elected leaders to shy away from their responsibilities when numerous precious lives have been lost and the masses are facing immense difficulties, he maintained.
He went on to assert that WANGGPACO demand the resignation of the Chief Minister and Security Advisor since they have failed to control the violence in the State.
He also appealed to the remaining 50 MLAs apart from the 10 Kuki MLAs to come together and form a unified stand to resolve the ongoing crisis and save Manipur from the atrocities of the Kuki terrorists.
Waikhom Bisaya Devi on behalf of Apunba Meira Paibi Lup stressed on the need of making collective efforts to defeat the Kuki terrorists who have been wreaking havoc in the State.
She urged the 50 MLAs to make sincere efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict, failing which the Meira Paibis will be compelled to take up stringent actions against the MLAs.
Later slogans such as 'Give more authority to State Forces', 'Resign Unified Command Chairman', 'Wipe out Kuki terrorists' etc were chanted.
