Monetary aid extended, memo submitted to CM

Loukham Leirak Women Welfare Association and Loukham Leirak Meira Paibi have donated an amount of Rs 20,000 to Raj Medicity, Imphal.
In a release, Raj Medicity chairman & managing director, Haobijam Rajen Singh acknowledged the efforts made by the association and them for their generosity.
He also mentioned that the donation will play a vital role in the efforts of Raj Medicity to provide free and effective treatment to all those who have been affected by the ongoing violence.
"The hospital remains committed to providing the best possible treatment to all violence-affected patients and will continue to work towards achieving this goal with the help and support of its well-wishers", it added.
Similarly, representatives of Meitei Pukkei Loop, Lakhipur and Athouba Ninghsing Loop, Lakhipur visited the office of AMUCO and handed over an amount of Rs 20,000 to help the people affected by the present unrest.
In a release, AMUCO informed that a monetary aid of Rs 20,100 was also provided to AMUCO by All Assam Manipuri Artistes' Association (AAMAA) .
Meanwhile, members of Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur including president Naoroibam Khamba Luwang, vice president Sobita Mongjam, secretary Rakesh Naorem and life member Naorem Romila today met Chief Minister N Biren Singh and handed over an amount of Rs 1,75,000 provided by Bangladeshki Apunba Manipuri Lup.
In a release, PAWF informed that the monetary aid was provided with contributions made by the Manipuri Meetei brethren residing in Bangladesh to help the people who have suffered due to the violence which broke out on May 3 last.
PAWF also submitted a 11 point memorandum to the CM listing various demands such as the abrogation of Suspension of Operation (SoO) with Kuki militant groups, implement NRC in Manipur with 1952 as base year, deploy State forces in the periphery of the valley to protect innocent Meetei civilians, set up Model Residential School for students staying in relief camps, legal actions against 10 Kuki MLAs demanding separate administration, take action to restore peace & harmony in Manipur, open NH-2 and constitute National Highway Protection Force, restore internet services, etc.
