Imphal, June 21 2023:
Elderly citizens and widows, who have been displaced from Moreh town due to the ethnic conflict and are taking shelter in relief camp set up by Social and Cultural Development Centre at Wangjing Ko-dompokpi Sports Complex, have urged authorities concerned to provide benefits of widow and old age pension schemes to mitigate some of the problems faced by them.
Drawing the attention of the government, the displaced beneficiaries of Chief Minister Widow Pension and Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme appealed to distribute the pension benefit at the earliest.
