Manipur crowned National Jeet Kune-Do champs

Manipur were crowned overall team champions of the 7th Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior Men & Women National Jeet Kune-Do Championship 2022 held at Shivaji Indoor Hall, New Delhi.
On the other hand, Dr Moirangthem Ibomcha won a gold medal in the International Jeet Kune-Do Championship held at Tashkent City, Uzbekistan from December 16-18, 2022 .
Ibomcha clinched the gold medal after emerging victorious in the final of the 55-60kg (+55yrs) men's full contact fight event.
In the national competition, Manipur ended their triumphant campaign with a whopping haul of 51 gold medals, coupled with eight silver and one bronze.
