Ranji Trophy: Manipur require 188 runs against Arunachal

Imphal, December 29 2022:
Manipur trailed Arunachal Pradesh by 187 runs as the state team started their second innings with 10 runs for no loss in one over at the close of play on the third day of their Ranji Trophy plate group tie at Lal Bahadur Shahstri Stadium on Thursday.
Ronald M (9 not out) and B Rahman (1 not out) batted the first over and the duo will resume their innings on Friday, raising hopes of Manipur's win.
In their second innings, Arunachal were dismissed for 251 .
Kishan Singha, who scalped five wickets for Manipur against Arunachal's first innings, took one more wicket during the opposition's second innings to finish with a haul of six wickets while teammates Rex and Jotin Pheiroijam claimed one wicket each in both the Arunachal's innings.
Earlier, in their first innings, Arunachal were all out for 233 while Manipur eclipsed the former's total by accumulating 287 (all out) .
Langlongyamba (91) topscored for Manipur in the first innings, followed by other key run-getters Kishan Singha (58), B Rahman (37), Rex (28 not out) .
