TKYC concludes wards sports meet

The Tumuyon Khullen Youth Club (TKYC) concluded its 5th Kie-Beh Nhok (ward sports meet), in memory of (L) T Akeng, Chief of Tumuyon Khullen village.
The memorial trophy of (L) T Akeng among the T Khullen villagers will be the last edition and the next ward sport will organized for memorial trophy.
The occasion of concluding ceremony of the Kie-Beh Nhok also marks kick-off ceremony of the TKYC Golden Jubilee celebration.
The theme of the occasion was 'accelerating youth Empowerment
for sustainable Development' .
The tournament was played at Brig R S Sirohi Ground, T Khullen.
The concluding ceremony was graced by K Raisung, President Maram Union as Chief Guest and Shakpa Sebastian K, General Secretary, SDSA as Guest of Honor.
The inauguration was held in the presence of A Maraiba, Chief of TKVA, B K John, Chief of MNVA, Pastor of T Khullen, youth leaders, social leaders and women leaders.
The programme was entertained by some young talented singer and Choreographers from the Youths of T Khullen Nepali Baptist Church.
He also gave a fatherly advice to the youths to learn from the game of football the principle of discipline and hard work and translate to real life practices.
Shakpa the Guest of Honor in his address lauded the Youth Organization for sports to shape and refine the talents of the youths within the village.
He also pointed out that sports and music for which the village is well known among the Marams to further develop and further professionalized.
The grant finale of the football match was played between ward 5 and ward 6 in the men's sport event where ward 5 won the trophy with a margin of two goals.
In the women's sport event of Volleyball the final was played between ward 4 and ward 2 and the championship trophy was lifted by ward 4.Th Tamboi, ward No 5 was adjusted the best player of the tournament and Kabingampa badge the best keeper of the tournament.
Best defender was given to K K Bikie Betterson, ward No 4 .
Whereas, golden boot was shared between two player, R K Moses, ward No 5 and B Komi, Ward No 6.Ward No 9 walked home with a title of best discipline team of the tourney.
