Imphal, May 06 2014:
With the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) failing to extend the last date for form submission for appointment of 200 Medical Officers Grade-IV in Manipur Health Service despite repeated requests made, Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) is all set to launch intense agitation to pressurize the Commission for extending the form submission date in the interest of aspirants.
Announcing this in a statement, the student body said that it had already requested the MPSC to extend the last date scheduled on April 24 considering that many students from the State who had completed their MBBS/BDS course in different parts of the country are yet to receive their certificates as institutions had deferred in dispatching certificates to students on account of the then 16th Lok Sabha Election 2014 .
It also urged the State Government to intervene into the matter and extend the last date for form submission up to the month of May.
