The process of counting votes for the two Lok Sabha seats of Manipur would be webcast live from all counting centres, said Chief Electoral Officer O Nabakishore.
Talking with The Sangai Express, Nabakishore said that apart from webcasting the counting process from all the nine district headquarters and two sub-divisional headquarters, the emerging trend at the end of every round would be informed to public.
For convenience of public, a new website exclusively for the election results would be launched and necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate seamless coverage of the counting process by media persons, the CEO stated.For Imphal East, votes would be counted on 34 tables, Imphal West on 38, Bishnupur on 20, Thoubal (Inner) on 13, Thoubal (Outer) on 26, Chandel on 10, Ukhrul on 10, Senapati on 14, Kangpokpi on 14, Tamenglong on 14, Churachandpur on 14 and Jiribam on 4 tables.
Notably, counting of votes has been already scheduled on May 16 .
