The All Tribal Blind Association has threatened to launch agitation if the Govt fails to take up measures to fulfil the demand of upgrading Mission Blind School located at Heikakpokpi, Chandel district to a full-fledged school within Dec 5.The association, in a statement, pointed out that Chief Minister O Ibobi along with Industries Minister K Govindas, PHED Minister I Hemochandra and principal secretary Barumita during a meeting with representatives of the association on October 4, 2013 assured to hold another round of meeting with the association to discuss the matter.
However, the association is not given appointment to meet the Chief Minister till date.
As such, the Association warned of launching agitation in case the demand is not met by December 5.The Govt would be held responsible for any outcome.
