Loris in PFA's hand

Imphal, March 29, 2014:
A Bengal Slow Loris rescued by Loitonjam Radhashyam and Yumnam Angoucha of Charangpat is now in the safe hand of PFA Thoubal.
The loris was collected by the PFA on Monday and would be released shortly at suitable site.
On Wednesday, two young wild kittens (Prionailurus bengalensis) rescued by one Yumnam Dhirendra of Thoubal Athokpam Makha who is a teacher of Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chandel from the campus are also kept in the safe hand of PFA Thoubal.
Dhirendra saved the kittens from being killed and eaten by the locals and fed the kittens with milk and kept for the day.
He himself took the kittens to PFA shelter the next day.
The kittens are hand feed 4 times a day with prepared liquid.
