KNA(I) bans Congress

Kanggui, March 29, 2014:
Kuki National Army (India) today declared its total ban on Congress in the coming 16th Lok Sabha Election.
According to a press statement signed by the outfit's Information and publicity secretary Barak Kuki, Kukis are living since time immemorial in their respective dwelling places peacefully while safeguarding the integrity, identity and culture, but the understanding and peaceful coexistence among the Kukis has been totally demolished by the UPA led Congress Government.
The UPA led Congress Government while creating misunderstanding and discriminatory attitude between Kuki Army and the Indian Army caused tremendous hardship to the Kuki people politically, socially and economically.
The discriminated Congress Government has now become the enemy of the Kuki people.
Therefore, the Kuki National Army (India) will not render any support to Congress Government in the coming Lok Sabha Election in Outer Manipur P/C and urges all the Kukis not to execute any election related activities in favour of Congress party.
Water scarcity to hit more areas HNS/IMPHAL, Mar 29: Owing to rapid decrease of water level of Iril and Imphal River thereby failing to pump up adequate water, places within the jurisdiction of Porompat Water Supply Plant, Canchipur Water Supply Plant, Khurai Laiwangma Zonal Reservoir, Minuthong Zonal Reservoir and Khurai Sajor Leikai Zonal Reservoir will not be getting portable water like before.
Informing this in press release, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has appealed to the public to use water wisely.
