Awareness lecture on cancer organised

Imphal, November 09 2022:
On the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day, Khuga Battalion of IGAR (South) organised an awareness lecture on cancer for the inhabitants of border villages of Zou Khunou and Songdoi in Churachandpur district on Monday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the lecture was organised to raise awareness and highlight the significance of early detection, correct diagnosis and timely treatment of the disease as nearly 1.1 million new cases of cancer are reported annually in India.
More than 30 villagers benefitted with the lecture and appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles.
