Dingo calls for saving environment

Imphal, March 04 2023:
Emphasising the importance of natural environment for the survival of living beings on the earth, social welfare minister H Dingo has called for public participation in protecting environment.
Speaking at the inauguration of Singda Kadangband Part 1 playground under Sekmai assembly constituency on Saturday, Dingo said that the state is experiencing severe impact of climate change as a result of damaging natural environment.
The whole state is facing water crisis except for some pockets, he pointed out, while adding that mass deforestation should be stopped in order to reverse the impact.
