JNIMS director commits to patient-friendly service

JNIMS director Prof L Deben has stated that the hospital is continuously working to provide the best service to the patients.
Addressing a press meet held at his office in JNIMS Administration Block on Saturday, Prof L Deben informed that various steps have been taken up under the supervision of CM Biren, who is also the president of JNIMS Society to improve the relationship between doctors, nurses and patient parties arid also to enhance profile of the hospital.
One of the initiatives includes installation of a complaint box to address the inconveniences/grievances of patients visiting the hospital.
On top of this, patient parties can directly contact him (Deben) or the MS either on phone or in writing.
In addition, the potholes in all roads inside the campus are being mended as part of the initiative to maintain cleanliness and further beautify the hospital.
The drains inside the campus, which were blocked due to random dumping of plastic bottles and other plastic items, are also being cleaned.
As such, he urged the patients coming to the hospital to maintain cleanliness, avoid spitting paan and destroying hospital properties, while further appealing to the people to regard the hospital as their own property.
