UPF team leaves for Bholaganj

Imphal, August 08 2022:
As part of its campaign to connect with Manipuri diaspora, a 14-member team of United Peoples' Front (UPF), Manipur left Imphal on Sunday for a visit to Bholaganj which is located about 98 kin south of Shillong, Meghalaya near Bangladesh border and is populated by about 130 people of Meitei community of 24 surnames.
The team was flagged off by Social Welfare director Ngangom Uttam from Kekrupat, according to a statement released by UPF secretary organisation N Dinesh.
