CM castigates Cong, bats for Y Nabachandra

The flag hoisting ceremony of BJP candidate Yumnam Nabachandra of 32-Wangkhem Assembly Constituency was conducted today at his residence in Kiyam Siphai Thong Ahanbi with necessary rituals.
A public meeting organised by BJP Wangkhem Mandal was also convened at Haokha Mamang Leikai USDA Playground in connection with the flag hoisting ceremony.
Speaking as the chief guest, Chief Minister N Biren Singh asserted that the BJP has ushered in an era of peace in Manipur.
The CM stated that the arrival of the BJP led Government has banished the environment of fear that people used to live in 20/30 years ago.
He attributed this to the massive change in the relation between the people and security personnel and called it a gift from the BJP.
He also took a swipe at the MLA of Wangkhem AC and questioned why he had failed to provide the people of the AC with access to clean water and further lambasted the MLA and Congress party for the poor state of roads and the deplorable condition of the people.
The CM also stressed on the schemes and initiatives launched by the State and Centre for the welfare of the people and urged the people gathered to cast their vote in favour of Yumnam Nabachandra.
Works Minister Thongam Biswajit also spoke at the occasion and held the Congress accountable for prolonged blockades and scarcity of fuel in the State during the height of their power.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi addressed the gathering and stated that the Narendra Modi led BJP Government has undertaken many initiatives for the welfare of women and children, widows, underprivileged class, youth and farmers.
Yumnam Nabachandra shared that if he emerges victorious in the ensuing State Assembly election, he would work for the people by consulting them directly and work together with them.
