BJP is not anti-Christian: Nagaland DyCM

Election campaign for BJP candidate for Karong AC R Yuh Jonathan Tao was organised at Thingba Khullen on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagaland deputy chief minister Yanthungo Patton clarified that BJP is not Anti-Christian as many people assume and maintained that every political party in India has Hindu majority.
He further stated that BJP is a party concerned for the Northeast people under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who firmly believes that if Northeast is not developed, India will not develop.
Patton also stated that it is BJP that granted recognition to uniqueness of Naga history.
In his address, BJP Nagaland president and minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs Temjen Imna Along said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership is for every community and every part of the country.
Under the BJP government and under chief minister N Biren Singh, the gap between the hills and valley has been plugged and peaceful environment prevailing in Manipur, stated Temjen, who also said that BJP will represent the emotions of the Nagas.
Both the Naga leaders appealed to the people to cast vote for Yuh Jonathan Tao, saying BJP is the party which will bring progress and development .
Government of Nagaland advisor for NH, Treasuries & Accounts MLA Dr Longri stated that Yuh Jonathan Tao is a good leader with humble personality and people must elect him as their representative.
Former in-charge for BJP Manipur, Nagaland and Goa Avinash Kohli also spoke on the occasion.
Yuh Jonathan Tao requested the people of Karong AC to vote for him and let him be of service to the people and bring development to the area.
The campaign was also attended by Nagaland BJP workers from different communities.
Helpveni Rana and Ng Lanai thrilled the public through their melodious songs.
Many leaders and supporters also turned up in the campaign from different villages to support Yuh Jonathan Tao.
