Ram Muivah shares his objectives for joining electoral politics

Retired IAS Officer Ramnganing Muivah who is going to contest the ensuing 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election 2022 from 44- Ukhrul Assembly Constituency through NPF ticket on Thursday shared his objective for joining state electoral politics.
Addressing a press conference held at the residence of Ram Muivah in Greenland, Ukhrul, Ram Muivah informed that he decided to contest the forthcoming election with the vision to transform Manipur, particularly Ukhrul district.
"Article 371(C) is a legitimate right of hill people as enshrined in the Constitution of India and MADC Bill must be implemented in letter and spirit in the interest of the whole state to bridge the differences", he asserted.
Assuring that NPF will continue its effort to translate the Bill into reality for a meaningful autonomy, he urged the people not to believe in election propagandas and allegations regarding the delimitation exercise made by rival political parties.
Stating that the allegations are baseless, he mentioned that the delimitation exercise is a Nationwide programme carried out for the welfare of all.
"Division or fragmentation of Assembly segments is a systematic procedure executed by competent authority", he asserted.
In regard to his policies for development of the state, Ram Muivah informed that a network has been created in order to avail soft loans from various multinational companies such as JICA, ADB, World Bank, etc to speed up development in the region.
He further announced that NPF will continue its endeavors to resolve all the impending issues to bring viable economic development at the earliest.
