Zeliangrong Youth Front's Christmas greetings

The Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) extended greetings to all the Zeliangrong people living in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland, and all Christian communities on the coming of auspicious Christmas.
A release of the front also mentioned that peace and tranquillity should be prevailed while remembering the birthday of Lord Jesus Christ.
It is also appealed to the Shopkeepers of Imphal city and other major towns not to hike price of commodities and goods by taking advantage of the festival and innocent shoppers particularly coming from far flung areas and hill districts of the State.
The front appealed to all concerns not to call any sort of bandhs, strikes and road blockades during the festival.
Underground organisations are also asked not to shatter the peaceful atmosphere of the Christmas festival, added the release.
Meanwhile, organisations such as Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland), National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO), Protection and Preservation Committee Manipur (PPCM), Rural Tribal Development Organisation, All Manipur Christian Minority Welfare Association also gave their best wishes to all the Christians of the State for the coming Christmas and New Year 2012 .
