CM had never misled the House: N Biren

Clarifying the allegation made to the Chief Minister of Manipur by FREINDS President, Sapamcha Jadumani regarding the private member resolution moved on the floor of
the House yesterday, Minister N Biren who is also the spokesperson of SPF government has exclaimed that the Chief Minister had never misled the House.
Addressing media
persons at his office at Secretariat, Minister Biren said that the Protected Area Permit has been removed from the State by the government for free entry of
foreigners in the state.
The PIL filed by Sapamcha Jadumani in the Gauhati High Court in 2008 was not against PAP as claimed by him, but was in relation with the ILP.
He further said that in 2008, Sapamcha Jadumani had filed a PIL, Case Bearing WP (PIL) Number 13 of 2008, in relation with ILP.
The case not only pleads for the
prohibition of entry of foreigners from Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal but also outsiders from others parts of the country to settle in Manipur.
The PIL filed also
includes annexure of the applications written to the Chief Secretary and Home Secretary.
