ZU (AMN) consultative meet

Imphal, December 23, 2011:
With regard to construction of road under PMGSY Phase-VII, Package no.MN-0642, over a distance of 16 kms from Senapati Oklong to Makuilongdi, a consultative meeting of Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) and neighbouring villages of Makuilongdi held at Liangmei Colony, Makuilongdi village in Senapati district on October 25 last, resolved that first priority must be given to the work site covering Senapati Oklong to Makuilongdi, the contract of which was awarded to Special Contractor Sh Hungyo and that the fund provided should be properly and fully utilized.
Informing this in a statement, General Secretary of ZU (AMN) K Poushinglung said that the meeting also resolved that second priority should be given to the work site covering the distance from Makuilongdi to Ramtinglong (Oklong Khunou).
Consequently, following a decision taken by ZU, the controversial matter arising between ZU (AMN) Vice President and RHE James Zeme was resolved through an amicable solution and mutual understanding arrived at a meeting held on December 20, 2011 at ZU (AMN) office, Kakhulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal.
