Governor Gurbachan Jagat and CM O Ibobi Singh extended X-Mas greetings

Governor Gurbachan Jagat and Chief Minister Okram Ibobi have extended warm greetings and good wishes to the people of the State especially Christian brethren on the joyous occasion of Christmas, which is celebrated with gaiety and fervour to mark the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.
Mentioning that Lord Jesus was born to build a new world based on peace, justice and equality of mankind, Governor Gurbachan stated that the principles enunciated and message preached by Jesus Christ should be simulated to build a prosperous society and a peaceful world.
Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh said Jesus Christ showed mankind the path of compassion, tolerance, love, brotherhood and sacrifice which have a great relevance in today's world.
Meanwhile, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee and Bharatiya Janata Party, Manipur Pradhesh also wished all communities of the State especially Christian community on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
The GOC 57 Mountain Division Maj Gen Binoy Poonnen and all ranks of Red Shield Division have extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.
The Naga Peoples' Union, Imphal has also extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Christmas and for the blessings of Lord Jesus Christ.
