Bishnupur, August 31 2022:
JAC Against Missing of Md Achouba has warned of launching various forms of agitation including imposition of bandh with support of various CSOs if authorities concerned could not establish within 48 hours whereabouts of Md Achouba Buyamayum (42), son of Jallaruddin of Kwakta Charangpat, who went missing since August 12 after leaving home for Ukhrul district to work.
Speaking to media persons on the side-lines of a sit-in protest staged in connection with the case at Kwakta Bazar on Wednesday, JAC representative Allaodin Kashmi informed that the protest was held as no concrete action was taken up even after an FIR was filed at Ukhrul police station suspecting involvement of pastor William Wilson Zingjo of Kalhang village, Ukhrul district and village chairman Jeeto in the missing of Achouba.
If the authority concerned could not find Achouba within 48 hours, then the JAC along with other CSOs will resort to intense forms of agitations including calling bandh, he reiterated.
