Four state cricketers receive awards at NECDC Achiever's Nite

Four state cricketers were among the 10 players honoured by the North-East Cricket Development Committee (NECDC) at its inaugural Achiever's Nite 2021-2022 Player's Award & Felicitation event held recently at Niathu Resort, Dimapur, Nagaland.
Nitesh Sedai, Pheiroijam Jotin Singh, Waikhom Ganga Devi and Mangsatabam Chingkheileima Chanu received accolades at the 1st Achiever's Nite where the NECDC handed out the awards for best batters and best bowlers to 10 outstanding players from four north east states.
Nitesh Sedai won the best batter award in the senior men's category courtesy of his total 398 runs scored during the 2021-2022 season (Ranji Trophy - 198 runs, Vijay Hazare trophy - 67 runs & Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy -133 runs).
Pheiroijam Jotin walked away with the award for best batter in the men's U19 category.
He accumulated 929 runs during the season (Cooch Behar Trophy - 829 runs & Vinoo Mankad Trophy - 100 runs).
Waikhom Ganga was honoured with the award for best batter in the senior women's category based on her season's performance (One Day Trophy - 169 runs & T20 trophy - 87 runs).
Mangsatabam Chingkheileima received the best bowler accolade in the senior worn en's category for her 11 wickets (One Day trophy).
The others award winners were Nagaland's Imliwati Lemtur (senior men's best bowler), Sikkim's Ankur Malik (men's U25 & U19 best bowler), Nagaland's Soyimkumla (women's U19 best bowler), Auranachal Pradesh's Shubham Jhun Jhun Wala (men's U25 best batter) and Sikkim's Samayita Roy Pradhan (women' U19 best batter) .
