Manipur University registrar Prof W Chandbabu has issued a notice on Wednesday that entrance test for admission to MA/MSc/MCom/MCA/MLIS/LLM and other PG courses in Manipur University for the academic session 2022-23 will be conducted on a date and time to be notified later on.
Meanwhile, six student bodies namely AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS recalled that they have exerted pressure for making an alternative arrange ment in view of the inconveniences to be faced by the Manipuri students who were allotted exam centres for appearing in CUET outside the state.
A release issued by the six student bodies lauded chief minister N Biren and union minister of state for education and external affairs Dr Rk Ranjan for making an alternative arrangement and allowing Manipuri students to appear the entrance exam for studying in Manipur University in the state itself.
It further informed that they submitted memorandums to the chief minister, NTA director general, and grievance cell and also met Manipur University authorities for solving the issue faced by the students.
