Lecture on Japanese language conducted

A one-day career-oriented Japanese language awareness lecture programme was conducted at the auditorium of Indi an Institute of Information Technology (HIT), Mantripukhri on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mosaique Private Limited director Hiroyuki Ishida explained to the students regarding the benefits of learning Japanese language and making a career out of it.
He also spoke about the art, culture and development of Japan till date.
In his speech, Japanese language expert Victor Chingsubam informed that there are over 5000 Japanese companies with branches in India.
Japan is also one of the top 5 countries investing in India.
Taking all of these into consideration, Mosaique Private Limited has taken up steps to provide an opportunity to the students of Manipur.
In addition, Japan and Manipur have a close connection due to the Second World War, he pointed out, while adding that an initiative to provide an opportunity to learn Japanese language has taken up for tourism purposes as well.
The programme was also attended by HIT director Krisnan Baskar.
