Senapati ready for counting of votes

Senapati, March 09 2022:
Preparations have been completed for counting votes of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election at Multi-Purpose Hall, Senapati.
According to sources from district election office (DEO), Senapati, counting will start from 8 am onwards with seven tables each for each AC namely, Karong, Mao and Tadubi including a separate table for postal ballot.
Briefing the media about preparations made for the counting, Senapati DEO Mahesh Chaudhari stated that everything is ready for the last phase of election process that is counting of votes.
He also mentioned that all procedures are in place to start the counting.
It may be mentioned that restriction under Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed by district magistrate in connection with the counting of votes in the peripheral areas of the counting venue to ensure free and fair conduct of the counting without any breach of peace.
